Diving in for answers on women’s health
I’m excited to take The Cold Plunge Challenge because women deserve answers. Menopause influences 70% of age-related diseases, yet less than 1% of preclinical aging studies worldwide consider menopause in their research. It's time to change that.
I'm plunging to support Sinai Health, one of the only academic centres in the world to make women's health a strategic priority. Together, we can help advance the research that will improve care for women before, during and after menopause—and across every stage of life.

Plunging into the cold for a great cause
Tuesday 6th Oct Since surviving cancer and making it through radiation my body decided to start menopause early. I am a mother who is solely responsible for keeping everyone happy and alive in my household hahaha! Menopause is a period of time in which a woman’s body changes - not just physically but mentally. We need research on future ways to educate and assist a woman through this next stage of life because “oh it’s menopause, it’s natural; you will get through it” should never be an answer to valid health questions.
