The NICU at-a-glance

Sinai Health’s Lawrence and Frances Bloomberg Centre for Women’s and Infants’ Health welcomes over 7,000 babies into the world each year. Our specialists provide leading-edge fertility support for aspiring parents, as well as comprehensive care for patients faced with any pregnancy complications.

Supporting 1,200 of Canada’s smallest and most fragile babies annually, the Newton Glassman Charitable Foundation Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) harnesses outcomes research to inform innovative models of NICU care. Through innovations like family-integrated NICU care (FiCare), our experts are helping preemies achieve better health outcomes at Sinai Health, across Canada and around the world.
