8th Annual Duck & Dodge in support of NF1
January 19, 2027, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Let’s Dive, Duck, and Dodge for NF1!
The 8th annual Duck & Dodge returns with fast-paced dodgeball, friendly competition and a shared goal of building on the more than $750,000 raised since 2019 to advance neurofibromatosis (NF1) research at Sinai Health’s Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute (LTRI).
Because of your support through Duck & Dodge, the Rankine Family Fellowship in NF1 is helping researchers tackle some of the most important questions in NF1-associated cancer. Dr. Renzhi Yao has made important contributions to our understanding of cancer susceptibility and is now helping move this research into its next stage, while Dr. Chris Lowden is supporting ongoing work to uncover new vulnerabilities and potential treatment targets. With large-scale studies underway and early findings beginning to emerge, continued support is essential to sustaining this momentum.
At a time when funding for discovery science is increasingly difficult to secure, your support gives the team at LTRI the ability to keep pursuing promising ideas, build the evidence needed to attract additional partners and move this important work forward. This year, Duck & Dodge is ready to build on that momentum, raise the bar and make an even greater impact.
No matter your dodgeball experience, there is a place for you on the court. Every throw, duck and dive helps drive NF1 research forward and brings us closer to better answers for patients and families.
Form a team. Fundraise. Make an impact.
Join us for an unforgettable night of dodgeball.
