For Carter’s first birthday we are asking family and friends to donate to Mount Sinai with proceeds going to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
The Mount Sinai was a big part of the start of Carter’s life. He was born on March 3 at Peterborough Regional Hospital via emergency c-section. Shortly after his arrival Carter went into distress, required cpap and was transferred to the NICU at PRHC. On March 4, he was transferred to Mount Sinai where he was treated for Meconium Aspiration Syndrome. He was on a ventilator for 4 days. Carter made a fast recovery and we were able to bring him home at 1 week old. We are so incredibly grateful for the care he received at Mount Sinai.
