Diving in for Answers on Women’s Health

I’m excited to take on The Cold Plunge Challenge to highlight the critical need for women’s health research.  

Health gaps disproportionately affect women, especially later in life, where underfunding leaves critical questions about menopause and aging unanswered. From menopause to chronic pain and heart health, too many issues remain misunderstood. It’s time for answers.  

By taking this plunge, I’m supporting Sinai Health’s mission to help women get the answers they deserve - advancing research that improves care and health outcomes now and for the future.

Happy Match Day!

Wednesday 25th Feb
Hi everyone! Today is Mount Sinai's match day where they match every donation up to $6,000.00! If you haven't already donated then today is a great day to do so!
With this in mind I wanted to thank my team for all their hard work during the last few weeks as well as my lovely friend, Ethan, who was not only our first donator but made two of our posters to help bring awareness. I'm also thankful for our friends, family and partners who have taken the time to get the word out there and finally to everyone who has donated or plans to donate. Every dollar sent is another dollar closer to bringing real change to the health industry in Canada. 
Thank you all for everything you do and continue to do. Y'all continue to bring light to a trying topic.

I have had so much fun working with my team to raise money for Mount Sinai's research on women's health. With just under 3 weeks left in the fundraiser I wanted to come on here to thank everyone who has donated through myself and my teammates as well as all the other teams raising money. 
This topic is so important as I have seen and experienced first-hand the way women's health is often brushed aside especially in older women. Through my Nanna, my oma, my aunt, my mother, my sister, through friends and myself I have seen the way the medical system continuously let's us down. 
I am incredibly proud of my team for everything we have done so far and will continue to do as well I'm thankful for Mount Sinai for bringing awareness to this cause and doing their part to ameliorate the system. Thank you all for everything you have done and please continue to share our link and share the cause.
