At 96.5 years old, I have a goal: to walk 100 kilometres before I turn 100.
I’m taking my daily walks and turning them into an opportunity to raise funds for geriatric care and research at Mount Sinai Hospital.
From March 1 to March 10, I’ll walk 10 kilometres every day to reach 100 kilometers over 10 days.
But this journey is about more than reaching a milestone.
I believe we need to do more to understand aging, improve care for older adults, and invest in research that helps people live longer, healthier, and more independent lives. I believe aging is a stage of life worthy of research, innovation, and investment.
So I’m putting one foot in front of the other to raise awareness and support for geriatric care and research.
I invite you to join me on this journey by making a donation and help build a future where aging is better understood, older adults are better supported, and geriatric research gets the attention it deserves.
