The Cold Plunge Challenge 2026

Diving in for Answers on Women’s Health

I’m excited to take on The Cold Plunge Challenge on March 8th to highlight the critical need for women’s health research.

I am extra excited to do a second plunge at 1 pm on March 14 in Niagara.

Health gaps disproportionately affect women, especially later in life, where underfunding leaves critical questions about menopause and aging unanswered. From menopause to chronic pain and heart health, too many issues remain misunderstood. It’s time for answers.

By taking these two plunges, I’m supporting Sinai Health’s mission to help women get the answers they deserve - advancing research that improves care and health outcomes now and for the future.

Join me in supporting this important cause with a donation. Together, we can support research that transforms care for women today and generations to come.

Why I am doing the plung

Thursday 26th Feb
This year’s cold plunge means more than just a challenge—it’s an act of love, remembrance, and strength. Stepping into the icy water is my way of honouring my mom in heaven, whose courage and warmth continue to guide every step I take. Her spirit reminds me that even in the coldest moments, love can keep the heart strong.

This plunge is also for the incredible women close to me who fight every single day—with grace, resilience, and unshakable determination. Their battles, both seen and unseen, inspire me to keep pushing forward, to face discomfort with purpose, and to find healing in the act of doing something hard.

Every breath in that freezing water is a prayer—for strength, for healing, and for the women who remind the world what true courage looks like. This is for my mom, and for every woman who keeps showing up, no matter how cold the water gets.
