Hi all, 

I’m thrilled to share that this International Women’s Day, on March 8^th, I’ll be joining my fellow Leadership Sinai team to take a cold plunge in support of establishing Sinai Health’s Centre for Mature Women’s Health!

With ongoing discussions around gender equity in politics and business — and staggering statistics showing that women spend up to 50% of their lives in perimenopause, menopause, and beyond — there has never been a more crucial time to advocate for women’s health equity. 

This groundbreaking $50-million Campaign, envisioned by the dynamic team at Sinai Health Foundation and countless other inspiring Sinai community leaders, will establish the physical Centre for Mature Women’s Health at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. This Centre aims to be the most comprehensive of its kind globally, funding research centered on women in this age and stage, and ensuring that more women than ever are heard, supported, and cared for at every stage of life. 

I’d love for you to join me in celebrating the women in our lives and set them up for lifelong health and success by making a donation to my cold plunge fundraising page.

And to raise the stakes and drive impact for those I hold near and dear, for every deep breath I take in the ice bath (e.g., immersing myself in 0-4°C cold water for 3+ minutes), I’ll be sending a card or text to a special woman in my community who I admire for making the world a better place.
