What High-Performing Organizations Are Getting Right

By Leslie Dibling

Most workforce systems—benefits, leave, accommodation, succession—were built for a workforce that no longer exists. The cost of that lag never appears as a line item. It appears as extended disability claims, senior women leaving in their highest-value years, thin succession in the roles hardest to replace, and legal exposure that surfaces long after the decision that created it.

The organizations getting this right are not spending more. They are designing better—treating workforce health as a driver of execution reliability, retention and risk posture rather than a benefits add-on or an HR file.

Sinai Health’s Menopause Clinic and the Weston and O’Born Centre for Mature Women’s Health represent one of the most advanced responses in Canada to the clinical, research and educational gaps in midlife women’s health.

Clinical volumes have grown more than 150% in two years. The Centre holds North America’s first endowed Chair in Menopause (Carol Mitchell Chair, held by Dr. Wendy Wolfman) and operates one of the few postgraduate menopause fellowship programs on the continent. It is building the integrated model—care, research, education and training—that high-performing organizations will increasingly rely on.

Funds from this evening flow directly to that work.
