Losing a baby is something that no one should ever have to experience, yet many families suffer this tragedy every year. The quality of care a family receives during this heartbreaking time can make all the difference.
Mount Sinai provided such quality care during our moment of need. Knowing that we had access to the best information and feeling the genuine care from our practitioners made a devastating situation slightly more bearable. Healthcare experiences vary widely across the world, even across Canada, and we are grateful that we had access to a hospital like Mount Sinai.
With the care we have received, we have been able to focus on our healing. We think about our little Isla every day and we miss her very much. Isla's life, although brief, has had such an impact and we would like for this impact to continue beyond just our lives.
This is why we are fundraising in support of Sinai Health Foundation. It is important for us to give back and we would be grateful if you would join us in honouring Isla Rose Pyman Stevens.
